Working for COSIRA, Rural Development Commission, Countryside Agency and the National School of Blacksmithing at Hereford College, Paul Allen has trained over 300 blacksmiths in the last 25 years on the NETS programme. Following the withdrawal of Government funding for NETS forgework training in July 2010, new entrants to the trade and more experienced smiths can now train with Paul at Motcombe Forge. The Paul Allen School of Forgework will offer specialist blacksmithing skills training courses designed to meet the commercial needs of practising smiths.
